Trading Room Negotiations Seminar

Seminar Outline:

The fast-paced environment of the trading room is no place for a novice negotiator. Your time to analyze and react is limited, and the stakes are usually VERY high. If you don’t have a solid understanding of how to recognize and respond to the common tactics used by trading room negotiators, you might want to consider a calmer, safer vocation -- something like joining the WWF, for instance.

In our two-day Trading Room Negotiations seminar, you will be exposed to everything you need to know about negotiating in today’s high-pressure trading rooms. We will help you understand every aspect of the trading experience, but we focus specifically on the common behavioral styles of traders and how to respond to them. We also take a hard look at typical trading room negotiating tactics so that you can recognize them and learn how to neutralize them. Using small group activities, case studies and videotaped role-plays, we actually simulate certain characteristics of the typical trading room set-up so you can practice your new skills as you learn them.
