Succeeding in the New Workplace Seminar

Seminar Outline:

Everybody talks about the good old days as if doing business was easier then and money grew on trees. The truth is succeeding in business has always required hard work, innovation, and courage. Today it is still that way, just more so! Profit margins are thinner and efficiency expectations are higher. Oh, and the competition is pushing even harder to out work you. The only difference between the new workplace and the old workplace is that now you have less time to innovate, adjust, and restructure to keep up.

Our one-day seminar entitled Succeeding in the New Workplace focuses on three important skills that you and your staff need to develop in order to keep your competitive edge. First, you will do a much better job of managing your team and relating to customers if you have a thorough understanding of the needs and behavioral styles of different personality types. Second, you can keep friction and confusion to a minimum if you develop effective skills for managing conflict and responding to interpersonal problems in the workplace. Finally, according to the US Department of Labor SCANS report, today’s managers must become self-motivated, visionary leaders if they want to maintain employee support, retain customer loyalty, and boost profitability. Succeeding in the New Workplace is a highly interactive that class gives you the background and practice you need to put these three skills into action in the daily operation of your company at every level.
