Sales Training Tips:

Sales Training Seminar - Learn How To Increase Your Sales Twofold!

I can't think of anything more essential to increase sales than setting goals, yet so many people overlook this simple, time-tested strategy. If you are looking for increase sales, a simple, but effective strategy is to set "SMART" goals.

Specific-For your goal to be most effective it should be specific. It is one thing to say you would like to increase sales, it is quite another to say you are committed to a 25% year over year increase in sales. This increase in sales would result in a doubling your business in only three years!

Measurable-Your goal should be measurable. If your goal is to spend more time with your kids...how much more time? Ten minutes? Probably not enough. At least two hours of "fun time" per week? Now we're talking! If your goal is to increase sales...how much would you like to have your sales increase? If you increase sales by one dollar is that enough? The ability to measure your goal will allow you to know how close (or far) you are from achieving your desired outcome.

Achievable-In order for you to fully activate your subconscious mind, your must be achievable. If your goal were to increase sales by 200% in the next two weeks, I am not sure how much this would inspire you to take the action that would be required action achieve this objective. If your goal were to increase sales by 200% over the next two years, this could be do-able. All you need to do is earn 36% more this year and next and you got'r done!

written-There is magic in reducing your goal to writing. Somehow it sends a message to your subconscious mind that you are serious (this time). The written goal should then be posted somewhere in your house, car, or place of employment. This will serve as a reminder to your subconscious mind of your intention. Make sure you put it in a place where you see it right before you go to bed, and first thing in the morning. You will be amazed as to how effective this can be. If you don't want to share your goal with the Negative Nellies in your life, write the goal in code so only you will know what it means.
Timetable-I've heard it said that a goal is a dream with a deadline. Without the deadline, the goal is just a dream. If your goal is to increase your savings by a specific number, by what date will you have the extra money in the bank? Setting a timetable will create the sense of urgency you need to take action now!

Take the time today to set some "SMART Goals," follow through and take the action you need to accomplish these objectives and watch your sales easily increase!
