Sales Training Tips:

Sales Training Classes - 5 Ways To Boost Your Sales Now

Are you a salesperson or involved in sales? If you are, how would you like to be able to raise your salary by as soon as this week, and get some extra cash by the end of this month for a small holiday?

Here are 5 tips that you can start using today to start boosting your sales, but first you need to be aware than in order to achieve different results, you need to do some things a little differently from the things you are doing right now. As the famous saying goes, "Insanity is doing the same things over and over again yet expecting different results."

1. "Just one more"

How do you often ask or push through a sale? Most people usually says no five or six times before saying yes to something they really want, but the average salesperson usually gives up after being rejected once or twice. Simply by adding one more request to each of your sales request, and you might be surprised at the results you get! For example, if you need to cold-call or go door-to-door knocking, make it a point to go for at least one more call or one more house before deciding to quit for the day.

2. Having a good follow-up system

Research in advertising has revealed that more than 50% of buyers usually take up to 3 months or more to become customers. Although sometimes it is great to be able to push for a sale on the first presentation, having a good follow-up system in place will ensure that you will still be able to collect some of the sales that are slipping through right now.

3. Make use of a referral system

No advertising can be better than a word-of-mouth advertising by satisfied customers. Develop a reward system for your present customers who bring referrals to you and give them some incentive to start referring more people! This is a win-win situation for everyone as you will be able to save a lot on advertising and effort, and your customers get to earn some extra pocket change and go back with a smile on their face!

4. Learning how to generate your own leads

Are you depending on someone else to bring you new leads? If you are, you should start learning how to generate your own leads today. People involved in generating leads usually charge a lot more, and ultimately you are still the one who knows exactly what kind of leads you would like to have.

5. Setting a specific goal

Have you already realized by now that you never seem to miss the mark when it comes down to making enough money to pay your monthly bills? That's because the bills have become sort of like a monthly target or specific goal that you need to hit no matter what. So apply this principle to your sales, and you may be quite astonished by the results!
