The amount of knowledge you have on effective sales strategies often impact whether a deal is closed or not. It may depend on how badly the client wants the product or service, but most times, it will take a bit of convincing to have a closing take place. This means the salesperson needs to know what is needed to close a deal, which means learning the correct set of skills for sales.
One of the first things that needs to be done in a business transaction is preparation and research. The idea is to be prepared to not be prepared, especially any time you meet with a new customer. You want to be so prepared that you feel open minded, relaxed and ready for any direction the conversation might take.
