The Lewis Group Rolls out Negotiations Training with Sales
Training America
The Lewis Group of Companies, developers of
the west’s premier master planned communities and
residential subdivisions, recently chose Sales Training
America to roll out a targeted one-day negotiations program
for its team. The Sales Training America development team
and facilitator worked closely with the Lewis Group to focus
a Managing Negotiations program around key skills that
needed to be utilized by the training audience.
Specifically, the negotiations class was centered around
negotiations related to land, building and material
acquisitions.
Sales Training America has built a strong reputation among
the homebuilding industry, having worked with companies like
Centex Homes, Van Metre Homes and Newland Communities. The
Lewis Group subsequently chose Sales Training America as its
suppler of negotiations training for its sales and marketing
team after checking Sales Training America’ references in
the home building industry. The company was also impressed
with the level of capability of the senior instructor
assigned to facilitate the class and the sales team’s
willingness to customize the program to achieve the greatest
possible result. Training was delivered in the late summer
of 2005 and met the specific needs of the company’s sales
and marketing team.
