Roto-Rooter Partners with Sales Training America to Deliver Sales Training

Roto-Rooter, the largest provider of plumbing and drain cleaning services in North America, has selected Sales Training America to deliver a two-day Sales Training workshop to their entire sales team. Roto-Rooter’s Toronto branch wanted to offer a sales class that emphasized value, empathizing with clients, building trust, and communication to both seasoned sales professionals and new hires alike. The Consultative Selling Skills workshops will focus on all of these vital sales topics in a unique and interactive way complete with role-playing exercises.

The two-day, custom Consultative Selling Skills workshop will be held at one of the company’s Canadian regional offices in Toronto, Ontario. Roto-Rooter chose Sales Training America due to STA’s ability to deliver a sales training program that is keyed to the specific goals and strategies of the sales team as well as the hands-on format of the workshop.

About Roto-Rooter

In 1933, Samuel Blanc created a funny-looking sewer cleaning machine from a 1/6 HP Maytag washing machine motor, roller skate wheels and 3/8" cable to turn the blades which used a combination of special blades or "knives" to cut tree roots out of sewer lines (no digging required). A year later, Sam's wife Lettie christened the prototype the "Roto-Rooter." Founded in 1935, Roto-Rooter offers an ever-expanding variety of repair and maintenance services to both homeowners and businesses. Roto-Rooter serves approximately 90% of the U.S. population and parts of Canada, operating in more than 100 company-owned branch and contractor territories. Approximately 500 franchise operations and Master franchise operations have been established in Japan, Philippines, Mexico, United Kingdom, Hong Kong/China and Indonesia/Singapore.
