Our one-day Making Technical Presentations seminar focuses specifically on the skills necessary to deliver a highly technical presentation that will keep people awake and get them excited about your product. Through discussion, video taping, and extensive one-on- one feedback, you will learn how to deliver a message with enthusiasm and charisma that that will open up the hearts, minds and wallets of your audience. In addition to valuable instruction, you will practice your new presentation skills during a series of videotaped exercises. The coaching you will receive from your personal presentation instructor during these sessions will help you immediately apply your new skills with confidence and style..

  • Make graphs, diagrams, flow charts, and other technical materials understandable and easy to read.
  • Connect with the audience using eye contact and body language while working with detailed visual aides.
  • Prepare a presentation using a simple but highly effective outline.
  • Add humor and personal touches to a technical presentation.
  • Capture the audience’s attention within the first 60 seconds of the presentation.
  • Use the pace, tone, and pitch to create enthusiasm and interest in the audience.
  • Use body language and movement that is effective and not distracting to the audience.
  • Avoid using jargon that confuses non-specialists.
  • Manage Question & Answer sessions.
  • Properly use visual aides to support the presentation.
